This property consists of a rustic estate in the parish of Santa Cruz, in the municipality of Almodôvar, in the district of Beja, with a total area of 31 hectares.
This region of Baixo Alentejo borders the Algarve via the Ribeira do Vascão (which rises in the Caldeirão mountains and flows into the Guadiana), which the property faces on the east side.
The land is largely made up of orderly pine forest, areas of holm oak forest and natural vegetation.
The orography is moderate / undulating, where a main valley allows rainwater to run off into a small embankment dam. Other smaller valleys and slopes provide natural features with orientation and panoramic views of great length, including the Ribeira do Vascão.
There are several accesses, with a tarmac road to the village of Santa Cruz and then a 2 km dirt track to the property, as well as others directly on the Algarve side or parallel to the Ribeira do Vascão, with passages through ancient crossings by water, which in turn connect to the well-known EN2 (739 km long and crossing Portugal from north to south, i.e. between Chaves and Faro).
Given these conditions, the property has building potential, which we can technically support with our engineering department.
Looking at a property only in terms of its current use can disguise alternative uses, in a concept of maximum and best use.
